Anyone running Mass Effect on the M50? What OS and video driver are you using?

I had it running on mine under Vista 32 with the 174.40 driver and it was doing pretty good but I experience 2 shutdown yesterday. No BSOD or CTD but the laptop just shut off.

Instant power down is more likely a heat issue on laptop, probably GPU or CPU overheat. I would run NHC or something similar to see what the temperatures are like when you're running it for a while.

Yea, that's what I'm thinking at first. But I was able to reboot and continue playing with no problem after the first crash for at least half and hour (i then switch to another game for another couple hours). The second crash happens late so I just went to bed. I'll try it a bit more this weekend (I usually play on my Desktop but I was just trying things out on the laptop).
