    M50SV-A1 Screen Brightness + ATK in Windows XP?

    Found a few copies of XP laying around. Use to work for a computer company so I decided to install XP.

    I'm having problems with the following:

    Hotkeys.... Downloaded one version, but they're still not working (ATK right?)

    Brightness! Can't adjust it at all.

    Please advise.

    PS Ordered a 320gb 7200 RPM Hitachi drive to replace this one and turn it (250 gb 5400 RPM) into a portable drive. Would like to get all the bugs straightened out before I reinstall everything again.

    Thanks. The G1 driver link was broken. Did give me a reference for a laptop I could look up on the Asus site though.

    All in all many of the drivers on my Vista Driver CD which came with the laptop worked with XP.

    This includes:

    ATK FN keys
    Media keys
    Touchpad
    Ambient Light Sensor
    Fingerprint Reader
