Doesn't the Radeon card perform better, therefor it is the better laptop?? But why is the other one $50 more expensive at newegg? Maybe somebody can give me a good explanation of this. Thank you!

The sa-x1 comes with a different lcd screen(lower resolution), and you can get the sv-a1 cheaper from online retailers that specialize in Asus laptops.

Radeon card does not perform better. I have quoted one of the trusted Asus resellers on this forum. Te difference is not phenomenal, but in real life gamming, the 9500 has a slightly upper hand. The M50Sv--A1 can be bought for as little as 1300USD, which is a great price compared to what it packs.

Are you sure the 9500 performs better? I saw benchmarks somewhere that showed the Radeon doing a bit better... hrmm..

If it is uncertain which of the two does better by up to 5% in synthetic benchmarks, I'd say the real-life difference between the two is negligible. So, use other criteria to select your notebook.

like for example the 3650 uses less power and stays cooler cause it's a 55nm process vs. the 9500's 65nm process (iirc)
