    Greetings,

First - it was great to find this forum. I have been researching laptops for about 6 weeks, and a good bit of the information found here, including the support of many discussion contributors, prompted me to decide on Asus M50VM-B4.

I've completed 'clean install' from recovery disk, and have since updated all utilities and drivers from Asus download website. The one item missing when I was finished was Realtek audio driver and codecs. I found a previous thread with ftp links to download driver R1.99, however during install the message presented was "No Driver was supported in this driver package." So, I went to realtek website to download the latest. They recommend getting drivers from the laptop manufacturer, and ASUS does not have these drivers in the download list.

What to do, what to do?

Thanks in advance for any advice and support received.

just download the ones off Realtek, if they are available.
