Is there a way to make the speakers on the laptop go any louder? They are really really quiet compared to other laptops. I have already searched around in the volume options and still can't find a way to turn them up.

In your Realtek audio manager, try set your environment to the Live setting and see if that helps.

It may not be a very noticeable difference, but try other environment settings.

So pretty much the speakers are just weak? I mean the sound quality is nice and all, I just wish it was louder.

I have an N50, which i assume would be the same. In the Bios i have an option for sound level, it's set quite low by default. This seems to apply not just to PC speaker but to Windows sound levels as well.

Also in Control Panel you have advanced options under "Sound", where you can add Dolby bass boost and other driver level options. Hope it helps.

Ok, I'll take a look for the option in the bios. I'm just wondering, is it set on low for a reason and meant to stay there?
