Im looking into buying the M50Vm-B1 model from a local shop in the next couple weeks, the model the shop has is with the standard 6 cell battery...

So my question is, whereabouts on the web can I order a 9 cell for this model? How much in Canadian would this run me?

Actually, on a side note..is it even worth ordering the 9 cell? How many hours difference is it between the 2?

    Thanks
and Excuse the noobness, 1st post on here, wewt.

You might want to try pcvonline.com or infonec.ca. They may not have it on their website, but they are an authorized Asus dealer and can special order the parts for you. The price of the battery will likely be around $100-120 Canadian.

The 9 cell is approximately 33% more battery life, so if the M50vm has about 2:15 with the 6 cell, then the 9 cell will have approximately 3 hours of battery life. Of course this is a mathematical estimation, but it's not that much off.

I just ordered the A-1 from ncix. $1240 for the laptop and $152.55 for the battery. Got the $60 off the list price since i price matched ( www.icct.ca) but i didn't find the battery for much cheaper so I didn't bother price matching. Since I don't live in BC, the total came to $1500.69; not too shabby :)
