I recently got my M50sv (which is awesome) and am trying to get WinAmp associated with the multimedia touchpad. I've gone into the synaptics settings and have changed the "Direct Media" button to launch my default media player which is WinAmp for audio files. This works, however none of the other controls (play, stop, skip etc) seem to work for WinAmp even though they are set to do function x for the default media player. Is there somewhere else that i need to change the default to get these to work for anything but WMP and Media Center? (the same seems to apply for the Fn "hotkeys" for controlling playback).

    Thanks!

    Winamp preferences: Global Hotkeys
then Enable default multimedia key support
