    M50vm 9-cell battery size

    Does anyone know if the 9-cell battery for the M50vm is larger and extends out beyond the size of the laptop, and if so, by how much.

    I need to know if it will fit into my current laptop case with a new battery.

    All 9 cell batteries are larger than their 6 cell counterparts. Most will stick out 1-1.5cm further beyond the position of the 6 cell.

    For exact specifics, you could PM either Eddie at Geared2Play.com or Ken at GenTechPC and see if they'll measure one for you.
