My touch pad wont turn on when I tap the MODE section. This happened a couple time before, windows gave an error and it stopped working. But it would work again with a restart. But yesturday the Touchpad's entertainment/shortcut mode stopped working; even when if I restart the computer, turn touchpad on/off manually. The mouse functionality of the touchpad works. Any ideas how to fix this?

Have you tried reinstalling the touchpad drivers?

Okay, try this... Go to Control Panel -> Mouse -> Device Settings (tab) -> Settings

There are several settings in this area that you can look through and customize. You'll probably want to pay special attention to the "Tap Zones" settings.

Yeah, I fixed it after my last post. In the settings Tapping was Disabled for some reason. Enabled it and it started working. Thanks for the help.

Okay, so I know how to solve this issue, re-installing the drivers. But, this keeps happening like at least once every 2 weeks, Is this a Vista problem or Asus? It's getting ridiculous. Every week im having some random new problem....Right now, when I click on the sound mixer on the toolbar, the toolbar freezs and I can't click anything on it and gives error sound....... :(
