    The M51 is the F3's replacement, it's been posted around here earlier this week that the F3 is EOL and is being discontinued. Beyond that, you can compare the spec sheets for yourself and find the subtle differences - published reviews aren't really yet out for the M51 as it is so new, but there are a few members here that appear to have their hands on one.

    Was there something else behind your question that couldn't be answered through the spec sheets that we can help with?

    Thanks. I guess as you say there aren't any reviews for the M51. I'm going to get one or the other so its a toss up for the older model that has good reviews, or take a chance on the new model being even better and not having anything wrong with it!
