M5np's in different color combos..... check it out

OK everyone... Most people have seen a black M5np...... Some of you have seen the all white images I've posted......

Still some of you keep calling and emailing wanting to see the black keyboard with the white chassis and the white keyboard in the black chassis...... So here you go:

I know some of you don't want to change your black M5 or M5np over to a white M5np, but those of you with a black m5np, who just want a white keyboard, now you can have it... it'd be $40.

You need the Np model to use this keyboad.. the N model is not made to fit this. However, if you have an M5n notebook and convert the whole thing to the new white Np chassis... you can not only change the looks, but you can benefit from the slightly larger keys...... so it'd be like having a totally new system.

I think the white M5Np with the black keyboard looks the best BY FAR...wow that's nice.

personally.. I love the white on white......the pictures don't come out as good as they should.. but anyone who knows what the white S5 looks like... it's the same thing with the benefit of the aluminum touchpad which is much nicer...... and the larger NP keys...

The black keyboard with white is ok, if you mix it with a black battery and maybe..... the black undercarriage (instead of going silver)..... that is a hot two tone look.... But everything white an silver.. and just the black keyboard sorta look like a cheaper computer that you could get painted any color... but they couldn't paint the keyboard.


I'm going to use one of the white chassis as a base coat and maybe leave the silver trim, but paint the pearl another color...... any one with some suggestions? ... have the translucent white keyboard will look better with lighter colors than black would, agreed?

Personally.. my white M5 is perfect and it's going to reside in my new ride which will be a mobile office for myself, but also a mobile display of home our products can make you more mobile.....

But for you totally custom fans, what do you think? I don't want to try anything tacky, but doing just a solid color isn't enough... I don't want to do some dumb racing stripe, but I'm thinking of masking off a very simple design and leaving the pearl below.....

Anyone who wants to sketch up ideas.. maybe I'll use it... maybe we'll sell it?!?

Justin, I have to admit I'm a little intrigued by picking up one of those white keyboards for my M5np and $40 isn't bad...

But one question: exactly what is involved in swapping out a keybard on this thing? e.g. how do ya do it? lol

actually, do you have any of those special m5np white chasis still available (and how easy is that to change?)

We've got a few of the complete chassis left..... It's a ***** (sorry for the language, but if I can get you to do it... some people might think we're really doing a service offering it with the systems) . It'll take you a while.... Luckly, it's harder to take your system apart than it is to put the new system back together. SO, you have a good chance of breaking tabs on your black case... but I wouldn't worry about that so much.

For the keyboard.... if you look at yours..... above the "F2", "F9", and "insert" keys are little spring loaded clips.. a flat head screw driver can push those out of the way and the keyboard pops out..... then all you have to do is release the cable.... when you see it, you'll see how simple it is.
