    M6BN = Radeon 9600, 15.4" 1280x800 display
    M6N = Radeon 9600, 15.1" 1400x1050 display

    M6BNe = Radeon 9700, 15.4" 1280x800 display
    M6Ne = Radeion 9700, 15.1" 1400x1050 display

    The "e" variants are the "updated" versions of the non-e variants, but the biggest difference is the video card. I've also heard that the non-e variants do not support the Dothan chips - but I'm not sure on that one. The weight and dimensions of both are pretty much identical (approx. 5.6 lbs, 1.3" thick). You cannot get any other screen size on the N6N/M6Ne - check Asus's web site for a complete line of notebooks.

    Well, the original name of the series is Asus M6N.
    If you see a "B" hanging out there it designates the wide-screen(15.4 inch) version - no "B" means the screen is 15.1 inch.
    The "E" or "e" designates the presence of ATI 64MB 9700 graphics card while if there is NO "e" you are dealing with a model that has the ATI 64MB 9600 Pro. ALL models, with or without the "e" support Dothan CPUs. The only difference in the "e"models from the NON="e" ones is the graphics, nothing else.
    Hope this helps.

    Asus says 5.6 lbs but that is without the DVD drive. I've seen 6.3 lbs listed as more typical. Do your own metric conversions.

    Anyone have an M6 they can actually weigh for us?
