    I have been considering these notebooks. They all seem quite similar. Which one is the best, does anyone have an opinion?

    Ideally I am looking for:

    15" non-widescreen
    >= 1.8GHz CPU (ideally 2 Gig)
    ATI x700 GPU
    1GB RAM
    >= 80 Gig HDD
    < 3Kg

    Thanks

    well.. the V6Va is the only non widescreen of the 4, and probably the lightest too!

    There are many threads comparing the M6VA (Z70Va) and the V6VA. You should check them out also. The M6 has the highest resolution of them all, it's a matte screen and is customizeable. The A6 comes with a 1.3mp camera built it. The V6Va is very light and slim (about an inch thick) with a normal ratio screen. The Amilo, can't vouch for the build quality compared to Asus, does come with a nifty wireless remote. Other than that, they do share similar specs with the same DDR2 RAM and X700 GPU.

    The M6Va is also available with a 15" standard display, but I read somewhere that this is an old model. Is this true?

    PS: The V6va is also the most expensive. I forgot to mention that i am looking to spend no more than £1100; which is ~ $1800

    The 15" regular ratio next made it to North America - but in some countries they may still have it... that screen though is the polar opposite of the V6va's IPS screen in terms of quality.

    So is the 15" screen model better or worse than the 15.4" widescreen model?

    Does anyone have the 15" M6Va/Z70Va - how is it?
