Hi
I have an Asus M70VM and no matter what OS I have (XP or Vista) I find it to be slow booting when the laptop is running on batteries, even if I've left it on standby it still seems to run sluggishly to begin with.
It's always been slow on battery power even though I clean installed XP myself.
I've tweaked the startup and I have very little loading on startup.
In XP in particular it seems to take ages to load up the LAN and WiFi network connections (at least they take ages to appear in the system tray anyway).
Does anyone else have a similar experience with running their M70VM on batteries and does anyone have any tips on how to solve this?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.![]()

normally on battery the cpu power should be throttled to preserve as much battery as possible, so it's normal that it's slower
M70VM - is yours slow on battery?
