So i was taking a look over @ MXM upgrade regarding cards that would be compatible with the Z84J series. As most of you know there is a 7900gs that was kind of sort of tried out but the card didn't quite fit properly. After looking around the mobility X1900 looks to be the exact same size as the Gf 7700 I have in there right now. I was in contact with the person from MXM upgrade and he said that in mid december there will be x1900's available for purchase, although after all the currency conversion it would be 470 dollars Canadian for the card, quite steep and i'm not sure if its really worth it, other than if it works being the first person to try.
I was also reading the reviews of the newly launched 8800M cards. They are available in MXM3!! Just looking from the pictures as well they appear identical to the 7700go in my laptop, so i may just wait a bit in the hope i could try one of those cards out.

I was poking around the MXM site and something struck me as odd - they fit the x1900 card into a MXM type I/II notebook - Amilo A1667 by fujitsu-siemens
So could this card theoretically be shoehorned into the C90s? And for that matter could any MXM II card work or only the 2 8600 versions, the 7600 and the 8500 work? -
Z84J is an MXM 3 laptop so it doesn't suprise me the 8600gt didn't fit.
