    Maintenance manuals - or how do I unplug those flat cables?

    Was buying an ASUS X501U laptop this saturday. As I could not find any maintenance manuals on the net for this model, I asked the sales guy if you were able to upgrade the memory from 4 GB to 8 GB and change the harddrive to a standard 2.5" SSD disk, and he verifyed this.

    I also asked him how to open it to get access to these things, and he told me to unscrew the screws on the backside and take the backside out. Then you will be able to see the disk and the memory.

    I found out, that this is not correct as it is the top cover, that comes off, and only the harddrive is visible (it looks as a std. 2.5" though).

    The memory is not visible though... Does anyone know how (if possible) to access these on this model?

    in order to remove them, do I just pull the blue label downwards (in parallel with the print board?
