(With particular interest in knowing if display or battery life are any better?)
    Thank you.

Same screen, just implementing Asus' Splendid technology which is more of a color correction setting than anything.... makes the screen more vibrant.. but it's not a HUGE factor.

Battery life should be expected to be the same, if not slightly worse..... the new core duo cpu is supposed to be 25-30% more efficient, but it does have more power, so more efficient or not, it will use the same amount of power, but create more performance at the same time. The new x1600 graphics are a LOT more powerful, but again, supposed to be more efficient.... I'd say if you can get 3.5 hours out of the W3j in it's stock form, that would be great, honestly...... settings are going to have a big effect as well, but I saw between 3 and 5 hours on my W3v based on simply settings alone...... so I think the new model will be similiar, but I always try to prepare people for maybe not the worst... but close to it because you never know how they're going to use the system and how they're going to tweak it.

But the graphics card and the new chipset and cpu are THE only advantages....... and they come at a price not much more than you can get an older W3v at this point from the places still trying to get rid of them.

Yeah.. looking at the GPU and CPU and the price being not that much off, it's definitely worth getting the 3J over 3V.
