I'm typing this message from a friend's laptop as mine seems to be having major issues. Without going into too much detail (It's 2:00AM and I'm tired), I've attached a dump file which hopefully someone can look through and maybe find a reason for the BSOD I've been getting over and over, even after using the recovery partition and sometimes even while it's being used... The .xml file has the most info.

With Winflash, if the date of a BIOS you plan to install is the same as or earlier than the one which is currently installed, it will not let you apply the BIOS. I want to reinstall my current BIOS to see if that will correct the problem. How can I get Winflash to let me re-flash my current BIOS?

Hi Brett, use "winflash /nodate" from run command
-
Wow, two consecutive replies for me with the same topic.
Use the BIOS flash option. It should be there somewhere, I don't remember now exactly but you'll find it. Just put your BIOS file, unzipped, on a flash memory stick, plug it in, boot the notebook into BIOS and flash the BIOS file. It won't complain about any versions or anything.
(This only applies if the W3j has the BIOS option, but I don't see why it shouldn't) -

I think it was posted here a long long time ago.... (in a galaxy not so far far away)

I think I tied my issue and a later, less annoying issue to my ATI driver. More info on a similar problem which plagued the W3v can be found here.
