Okay. Here's my dilema at hand.
I have windows xp home installed originally. I now have windows vista installed in a dual-boot configuration.
I now get ntldr error from trying to boot into windows xp.
I want BOTH operating systems to work, however.
Now, if i popped in the xp cd, and did a fixmbr/fixboot, and THEN went to repair it with vista, would that work?
Im confused as to why a ntldr error has come up in the first place =(

causes of a missing ntlder:
Have you messed with your hard drive and/or partitions recently? -
Problem fixed. it seems that vista boot menu didnt have a drive letter assigned to the xp entry.
So i sued that vistabootpro? (or whatever its called) and fixed up the entry. Im in xp right now
on another note, im pretty sure ive installed all teh ATK utilities. They work (brightness, touchpad, even with the visuals) BUTTT the volume, well, they dont actualy ADJUST the volume in anyway whatsoever!
Make sense?
