It's got the GTS360m GPU, and I like to run the F@H GPU client when I'm not using it. Right now I have it running at 600/1500/1800 and temps max out around 89/90C. Core/Memory speeds are not important, since all the GPU compute operations run on the shaders. What is the maximum shader speed I could reliably run at?

Its going to depend on the computer/GPU. You're going to want to keep you temps below 90, and see how high you can overclock without any artifacts.
If you don't know how to do that, then I really don't think you should be overclocking a laptop. They are MUCH more susceptible to damage from overclocking because you have so little control over the cooling system.
The JX has a pretty nice video card in it, and if you were going to overclock, I would do it in a year or two when your computer is struggling to play games decently and shortening the lifespan of the components won't be so much of an issue. I think spending 1200-1500 on a 6-12 month system is not the greatest just to get a 10% increase in FPS. -
