The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Maya on ASUS X55SV?

    This is my first post ;)

    I'm moving overseas in 2 weeks and have been looking at getting the X55SV which looks perfect for my needs...

    My only concern is if Maya 2008 will work with Geforce 9500m gs. I search the forum and googled everywhere but can't find if it will run properly.

    I know that Maya might have problems with recent graphic cards and I left it all a bit late.

    Would really appreciate if anyone could help?
