Problem is with my Z70va hardlocking on me when I try logging into WoW, I will sometimes be able to get logged in only to be greeted by a hardlock and a restart soon after with an Error saying "The driver for the display device was unable to complete a drawing operation.......The display driver for ATI MOBILITY RADEON x700 seems to be responsible for the system instability." It has also hardlocked on me a few times transfering some files to my USB drive. This still occurs after a fresh install of XP on a new HD with only WoW and stock drivers. If I remove my Lappy from AC power and then proceed to launch WoW I do not have these problems what so ever and seem to be fine elsewher as well. It seems the adapter still charges the battery when the lappy is off, but I have removed it just to be on the safe side.
It does see quite a bit of use each day from class in the morning to WoW raids at night. So I'd say it's averages easily 8 hours a day of constant use for over a year.
So what do you think?
Also noticed it seems to hardlock when the screen saver comes on... >.<

Faulty power adapter. Me thinks it be a bad connection between the AC adapter port and the motherboard. Send in for repair...

Well now it gets more fun! I powered it on this morning to finish installing XP updates that I didn't get to the night before. Powered up w/o problem was able to install a few updates before I had to shutdown and go to work. Well I get home from work with a new Kensington AC adapter to give it a shot and the computer won't turn on. I hit the power button and the fans cycle on real quick and it acts like it is goin through start up and then just shuts down. I remove the battery and the Adapter and hold down the power button for a few seconds and let it sit for a little longer. Try powering it on with battery power only and it does the same thing. I give it a second shot and it powers on, but wait no Centrino logo on the screen and the HD light is stuck on solid. After trying my old HD and swapping out the Ram modules I am stuck in the same place. Tried hooking it up to an exterior monitor and no picture on that. I had a previous LCD problem where the screen seemed to only display horizontal lines yet it displayed in exterior monitor just fine, sent it in to Eddie @ G2P he had it fixed and on it's way quick. SO I'm now thiking the worst that it could be the video card itself, I really have no Idea at this point and the best part is I am just 2 months out of the 1yr warranty window YAY!! :-(
Summary: It acts like it is going to boot then shuts off in both AC and Battery conifg, if it does stay on my HD light stays solid and no LCD display same of hooking exterior monitor up. Have tried swapping Ram Modules and HD's and so far outa luck.
Me thinks it be the AC adapter...
