I have an A6Jc with the same controls on the front of my laptop as you G1 users out there. I have used WMP for years now but made the switch to iTunes a few weeks back since it far easier to search my music. The media player controls buttons used to work with WMP but dont work with iTunes, this is quite annoying as I use them quite alot. Just wondering if anyone knows a way to make em work again?

Try WinAmp its the superior music player, and it does interface perfectly with my 5g ipod... But for itunes media buttons only seem to work if you have the program selected at the moment you put the buttons... Which to me defeats the point.

I can use my media buttons while WMP is minimised to the task bar and Im browsing w/ firefox.

I dont have or want an iPod so dont care about that functionality. Can winamp be used with the front media buttons?
