    Hey guys,

I just bought the ASUS G1SN- A1 gaming laptop from ASUS and I was wondering if 1.14gb of ram usage in IDLE is average for the computer. It is running vista x64 and I am not running aero and all the whiz bang features.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

Yes Superfetch fills up free RAM for faster program loading. Google it if you dont know what it does.

Free RAM space = Wasted RAM

Superfetch use doesn't show in the used RAM of task manager, I have 0MB free, but only 962MB is reported as used in task manager. 1.14GB sounds a little on the high side, but I'm not too familiar with Vista x64. Have you done a clean install or have you still got the Asus bloatware installed?
