Hi, I'm a proud owner of a W3V and I keep running out of disk space all the time, it really gets on my pip. I was wondering if it's possible to merge the two 40GB partitions into one 80GB one?

    Thanks

You can do it with Partition Magic or do a clean install with one partition.

Partition magic will do it and is easy to use. It will also help remap application pointer (looking for program on your D: drive that is not on you C: Drive.

Another option is to control "where your stuff goes". Windows will allow you to change the location of "My Documents" to another location. I have my machines set to have My Documents point to my D: drive. I ensure that all my files are there. I only have program files on C:. I install alot of software on my machine, office software, graphic software, application development software, no games though. And my C: drive is only 20gb and I always have at least 5-8gb free on C:.

Windows itself will let you move My Documents, the windows powertoys tweakui will let you move the default location for much more (music, pictures, etc.). Also by moving all "My" stuff to another drive I can wipe out and reinstall the OS and programs at will.

Sorry for the long winded response, but simply put you may be able just move some of your data with freeware (tweaki is from Microsoft, although not offically supported) and not have to mess around with the drive.

    Hope this helps.
