Will asus be making any merom notebooks when its available this fall? The V1J comes out in August which is close to the merom release and I was wondering if any merom notebooks will follow.

When merom comes out, will that be the end of intel dual core? Will all notebooks after that be merom?

Are the dual cores (V6J/W3J) able to convert to merom?

No reason why not, ASUS is almost exclusively Intel, with a few AMD units - so yea :)

As for the upgradablility, who knows, but it seems likely. Such is technology :(
