Hi, im buying a merom T7200 off of ebay for a low price of $250 (retails 350), but it comes with no heatsink/fan. Does anyone know where I can buy this seperatly, and if its even wise to buy only the cpu and not the whole package?

If you buy it, you're might have a hard time finding a heatsink that works with the model of laptop you're putting the C2D in.

Why can't you just resuse the heatsink/fan that's on your current laptop?

In fact this is your only option, the heatsinks for laptops are custom built to fit that specific model. You cant put a generic heat sink in...for one they dont exist!
