    Hi Everyone,

I've just assembled my C90S and performed some metrics. Pretty impressive, I think:

    Windows Vista Ultimate
    Intel Core 2 duo E6600 (2.4GHz)
    Crucial PC2-5300 RAM, 2GB
    Hitachi 100GB, 7200RPM Hard Drive
    nVidia 8600MGT, 512MB VRAM

    Windows Experience Indices
    Summary 4.5
    Processor 5.3
    Memory 5.2
    Graphics 4.5
    Gaming Graphics 5.1
    Primary HD 5.0

    3DMark06
    Summary 2844 3DMarks
    SM2.0 Score 1089
    HDR/SM3.0 Score 1022
    CPU Score 2037

    Hope this info is helpful...

Bummer! When I tried to install the 32-bit Vista driver that I downloaded, it said that it was not the correct driver for the hardware in my notebook. I have an nVidia GeForce Go 8600M-GT, 512MB VRAM. When I tried to find more current drivers on nVidia's and ASUS' websites, there aren't any available for this card. Any ideas where I might find them? Most of my WPI scores are in the 5+ region except for "Graphics", which is stuck at 4.5, even though Gaming Graphics is at 5.1.

    Thanks!
    Mike

laptopvideo2go.com should have them... be sure to read how to install them.
You usually have to download an exe package, then a seperate .inf file that will make it work with mobile cards.

be sure to read the quick start guide. it looks complicated, but it really only takes a couple minutes to do.

    1. Download drivers
    2. Download modded .inf to the aforementioned drivers' folder
    3. go to the device manager
    4. right click the 8600M GT under "display adapters"
    5. choose update drivers
    6. "Browse my computer" option
    7. "Let me pick" option
    8. "Have Disk"
    9. "Browse" input the drivers folder that you put the .inf in earlier
    10. choose the nv_disp.inf (should be the only one)
    11. "ok"
    12. "next"
    13. "allow"
    14. Finished!!
