Is anyone using the webcam and microphone? I can record video and sound but i dont see a way to record my voice well. When i record voice via standard ms voice recorder or ms win movie maker it plays too low. I have set the mic in to max.

Also if i have the speakers set on a high level so i can hear myself at least a bit the mic will record it too (the sound from the speakers)

I'm using integrated webcam and microphone for Skype and MSN Messenger video conversations and it works pretty good. My friends hear me alright without me having to shout or anything. Have you tried enabling microphone boost? Maybe that'll help.

Yes, i enabled mic boost. If i run ms win standard recorder. i dont see any changes in the spectrum analyser in the recorder, though i can hear myself very low if i set the following settings: (see attachment).

Problem is when i play winamp as you see on the picture its not on a low vol level, actually its playing normal, not low.

    Same for you?

Well, when I try to record at very low volume, the bar on MS recorder doesn't go up or down, but I can still hear the music faintly when I play the recording. If I raise the volume a notch on the other hand, the MS recorder bar does move and the music can be heard normally (like on the pic below). Does the bar move for you when you talk in the microphone?
