    Missing Driver Disc for G50V-A1

    I have been reading in these forums alot in the past bit and well its actually the reason i got the laptop i did heard very good reviews so good job to the Notebook community
    I recently purchased this asus g50v very good laptop but my driver disc was damaged by my niece and well now it just doesnt work i was wondering if anyone who has this notebook could upload a iso of their driver disc

    Why not make your life easy and download all the drivers off support.asus.com.

    If you're worried that the recovery will ask you for the drivers CD, you can bypass that. See the Info BoothFAQ.

    Send me a private message. I found my driver disc for my G50V-X1. I think the discs are the same. The label on the disc just says G50V.

    As for turning off the laptop when it asks for the disc, that has not worked for me, and I have tried multiple times.

    I know there are some recovery disks for which it does not work (people have been reporting that). So maybe it's like that in your case. It's still worth a try, perhaps, when somebody doesn't have the drivers disk.
