Yes, I know the W3J is a beautiful, beautiful machine and all, but has anyone modded or thought of modding your case just to make it a little more unique?

I think it was a W3J that I saw someone had painted. It was over in the cosmetic mods section. The Papaya Orange laptop. Think it was a W3J.

That was a W7 I did..... and for a W3, I'd rather see the lid anodized over again to keep the beauty of the brushed aluminum... that's easily lot with paint.

I wonder how laser etching would work on the brushed aluminum?

Does anybody know if etching would work or look good on the brushed aluminum? -

Looking good would all be a matter of personal preference. I think that some designs would look good, but I know that on my notebook I would prefer to keep it as is, I don't want it etched. I think that etching would work, I don't see any reason that it wouldn't, unless the metal was just too thin to be etched, which would make literally no sense.

Anyone willing to etch their W3's and take pictures for the forum?
