I like the laptops with blue ray between the touchpad (like V6J..), it looks cool, but they use this to separate two button, they using one key instead of two keys..
And I find some pictures V6J from Taiwan's cnet, they are reviewing V6J... Looks pretty cool and sexy!!

Thanks for the photos! Luckily I had a 10 New Taiwan Dollar Coin next to me for reference... lol
-
Awesome pictures. Is it just me or does the man in the wallpaper on the W3j look like he is having too much fun with it?
-
The V6J is a beautiful machine. I'm close to convincing myself that it's the one for me, and those pictures are definitely helping.
-
Look at these fugly things. forget waiting im gonna go by a dell.
-
BTW, almost forgot this picture...
Taiwaness two show girls holding ASUS Lamborghini VX1, I like the girl on the right side, she's pretty!! -
these pictures have already been posted in the Cnet thread some pages back, but it's nevertheless refreshing to see again
-
Thanks for the pictures Israel! Didn't see them before.
No W1J picture? -
LOL israel, yeah she's kinda cute, but not really.
The V6J has a blue light inbetween the mouse buttons, does the V6Va? -
I dig that blue light between the mouse buttons!
-
I dig the dotted trackpad - I don't know why, but I'm loving it.
-
The dotted trackpad looks cool, but in my opinion works worse than the plain, old, black one.
The blue light, I have nothing against. Though it might decrease the "no-s***, just business" overall look of the machine. Or maybe it adds to it?
Maybe I'll arrange a photo session of my V6J soon... -
I've got a question. Didn't want to start a new thread for it, so sorry for the highjack. Are all the new Asus models coming with an Express 54 card slot instead of the regular PCMCIA slot? Do any of the 15" - 17" models offer both?
-
CalibratedComa Notebook Evangelist
There's been plenty of talk about this. All of the new models will have the express card slot only.
Some of the older models still on sale now will have a PCMCIA slot...but as far as I know, none of the Asus laptops are equipped with both, at any size. Someone correct that last comment if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure those are the facts. -
Hold on... So there's a W6F and a W5F? I always thought people who wrote W6F were just mistyping it, but I guess I'm wrong.
What are the differences? -
W6F = 13.3"
W5F = 12.1"
No webcam on the W6 -
^Ahhh.. Thank you.
