    I'm loving the V1, W7, and F3... actually, I love them all.
Go Asus! 2006 should be a good year for them.

Wow, the W7J is hot. Small size, great slightly refreshed and refined look (though I prefer the black). Best of all, ASUS fixed the only issue I had with the W5 - that huge camera on top causing the huge LCD bezel! Not sure how many people will like the MIC on the palmrest thoug. From the photo caption, it says that it's going to have a discreet NVIDIA GPU as well - nice! Here's a closer shot:

So now the question is, WHEN will ASUS bring it here (in black)?

Oh, Gosh... That W7 looks absolutely delicious. If that thing can get 3 1/2 hours of battery life, I've got to get it. I never thought a lappy could be so beautiful.

If the W7J indeed comes with discreet graphics, it will be a tough notebook to beat.

^The thing is, if it is indeed coming out late like August... There should definitely be competitors by then.

They say 7400. How does a 7400 hold up on Battlefield 2?

So would the W7 vary from the W6f only in the camera? -- http://www.asus.com.tw/products4.aspx?modelmenu=2&model=1073&l1=5&l2=75&l3=0 --
Would there also be a "built on" of the W7, like the Z35 for the W6F? I love the 13" models proposed (keep 'em comin', Asus), but it seems like a lot of competition with itself. Also, vitually every comment on the white W5's and W7's is negative. Why would Asus limit the US market to white when they don't appear to be that popular? It looks like plastic... If it is that, it will be not very good. Plastic will causes it runs hot... :( But maybe is carbon... :) Now, we can only imagine... :p

    You couldn't be more incorrect...
Plastic wouldn't make the palmrest hot...... the material actually has nothing to do with how "hot" it runs", but more heat will be transfered from the system through the palmrest if it made out of aluminum...... and aluminum is most likely what the V1 will have, keeping in the tradition of the V6 and the w1.... But you don't have to imagine.... compare the striations in the pictures of from CeBit of the V6 and then of the V1... we already know the V6 has a brushed aluminum palmrest..... and comparing the photos would make you believe without much doubt that they are doing the same on the V1.
