    Hi,
Just bought an Asus 14.1 Ultrabook with 28Gb SSD and 750 GB HDD.
I assumed the SSD is used for the primary partition and SO (Win 8) but the primary partition is on HDD.
A tech I chatted with on-line told me that the boot is faster than from HDD because it is done from a partition of the SSD but it doesn't look like that.
I would like to reconfigure everything and make sure the primary partition and OS are on SSD. Anybody has any ideas how to accomplish this if it is possible at all?
    Thanks,
    Vlad

28 GB is too small to really do anything in my opinion, leave it as a cache or get a larger SSD is what I'd do.

It's enough space to install Windows to, but with such a limitation you would end up needing to install programs to the HDD, which in turn would somewhat defeat the purpose if performance is what you really would like to gain from it.
