I tried s-video cabel connectivty between my HDTV Samsung and Asus M51sn. Now i've disconnected it from the tv. And made the settings to default. (tried restarting). The Video isn't working.
I hear the voice and if i look carefully i can see the movie playing in very very dark color. The Sound is great, but trying to re-configure everything. Nothing is helping? anybody that have some great tips on what's wrong?

Are we talking about the M51 or the Samsung?

If the M51, is the LCD normal brightness otherwise around the window? What happens to the movie when you try to increase the LCD brightness with Fn-hotkey?

See if you can adjust Video settings in the Nvidia Control Panel.

ClearSkies: the Asus. Tried that. No difference. The light in the screen goes brighter or darker. But nothing more.

    Sesshomaru:
    tried that 2, didn't work!
