I bought my A8Jm I believe in the first few days of September, last year. I already sent my A8Jm once before (~6 months ago) and I'm thinking about sending it in one more time before the warranty expires, as the corners of the screen are starting to separate.

I was wondering if there are some steps I need to do to prove my A8Jm is still under warranty, as I'm sure the model has been out for over a year.

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure it has 2 years of warranty. All they need is the number on the bottom, it should also say 12 months or 24 months.

I bought my laptop when it was still a 1 year warranty and it says 12M under the laptop. So they can simply tell by my serial that it's still under warranty?

Ah, then it's based off the serial #. I know ASUS did a transition from 12 months to 24 months sometime last year, wasn't sure if your notebook was before or after that.

Call ASUS and see, I'm sure it's either based off the serial number though. Or the receipt.
