10 min ago i was typing on my A8js and it everything just whent black. It just turned off by its self. I tried to turn it back on... but it dint do anything... i tried to unplug and plug back the AC adapter, and when i pluged it in the note book made a weird cliking sound. After trying some more.... the lights powered again when i pluged the AC adapter... now when i try to turn it on, the lights go on but the notebook doesnt do anything. The screen stays black... i tried to reseat the ram and nothing...

Is there anything i can do before sending it to asus?

Try leaving it off for a few hours then boot it up.

Something similar happened to me once, it just died suddenly while I was using it.

It wouldn't boot or anything so I left it alone, and an hour later, it was just fine.

Unplug it from ac, Remove the battery, hold down the power buton for a minute, leave it alone for an hour, and then try turning it on.
