    Hi,

I bought an Asus A8J three months ago. It was working fine until yesterday when all of a sudden the system frooze. I unplug the power and then power it on again, the system shows that it is booting the windows program, but when it is ready to jump into the windows interface the screen just goes blank. Nothing is on the screen and I've tried to press any key ...(ALT + CTL + Del?) but it just won't work. The screen is suck in that position and I've tried to power it again and again and the same thing shows up.

I'm not a computer-literate. Does anyone who has the A8J have the same problem or someone can guide me on how I can troubleshoot it?

    Thanks,
    SC

Just to clarify, are you able to get into Windows? Or will the system not boot up anymore?

If your system does not boot up anymore, do you hear a beep sound when you try to turn it on. If you do there may be something loose, like the ram.

If your system can boot, but freezes in windows or loading windows. Go into safemode. And then scan for viruses, using AVG Free.
