I have a 3 day old now Asus 13.3 noetbook and everything was fine until this morning. Due to my Apple bluetooth keyboard being unwilling to pair with my Asus, I reverted back to a somewhat vintage Logitech wireless keyboard. Probably about 6 years old with the biscuit sized receiver. Anyway, this keyboard works fine once connected, but the Asus will not boot up when it's connected. All I get is a black Asus screen with the name Asus and Intel on it. Once I remove the usb Logitech keyboard connector, it boots fine. Any idea why this is happening? I'm only using the old keyboard until my new one arrives. Would it be an issue with Win 7 Pro and a vintage keyboard? It just seems odd but at least I've found the problem.

Try disable/enable USB legacy support in BIOS if such an option is present.

Some asus models have a problem with certain USB devices being connected at poweron, there's no way around it except to plug it in after POST.
My Asus U30JC-A2B wouldn't boot up this morning.
