Today is a sad day, my year and a half asus ultrabook took a crap today ... not bricked ... but bios is caught in a bootloop. It doesn't get past the asus logo and I fear it's a brick ... If I turn it on, i see the Asus and Intel logos on the bios for a brief second and then it restarts itself over and over. Cant f9 to get into bios options ... FFFF
I think the only option i have is to try to rma :-////
Anybody hear about this and possibly know how to fix it ? I know swapping drive to SSD is covered under warrenty but its been past a year and im worried it may not be covered.
This is it ... Newegg.com - Once You Know, You Newegg

Remove CMOS Battery also ... going to let it sit over night but i feel as though it might be done ... ASUS said i was 2 months over my warrenty period so I must pay for all repairs :-/
Can anybody offer any advice. -
Hi Xplic1T, I have the same laptop of yours and that problem happens when you take out your HDD and try to boot the laptop, so I guess that the problema you are having is that you HDD is not working or not recognized. There are several videos on YourTube on how to replace the HDD, you can try with aother HDD to see if that may be the issue.

Yes, swapping out the storage drive should not void your warranty unless you damage something. Something is tripping up POST, which might warrant an RMA.
Resetting via CMOS battery might get it running, however. Give us an update on that when you get a chance.*crossing fingers*
My Asus Zenbook UX32VD is Boot Looping at ASUS logo ... cant get into bios ... fear its semi-bricked ?
