ehmm... lets just go straight to my problem...
i bought my asus g2s for like 2 years ago...
and now.. even in idle (battery mode : entertainment) the GPU reach 85°
whats wrong? however, the fan was running at full speed from what i hear...

and not long after playing some game.. it amazingly break my own record to 115° C...
    is it the heat sink?
maybe dust blocks the fan from expelling the heat??
if so... how can i clean it...?
I mean like opening the back of my G2s because i have no freakin idea
    which part should i open?
    is it safe?

Get a canister of compressed air. Spray it through the fan vent, that should be a good first step.

If you're intent on opening it up, take out all the screws on the bottom and pop the casing off; it should be pretty straightforward.

115C !! How come your card doesn't downclock at that temp! Mine underclocks at 76C lol but the usual downclock temp is 110C for safety reasons. Do the above. The card is part of the mothboard isn't it? Maybe replace thermal compound if it is posible as well

Sent my g1s in for replacement with a g50vt-x5. I would call in and try to get it replaced... even if you have to pay ~$200 USD.

Dust bunnies inside your PC. Compressed air alone won't resolve it. You'll need some elbow grease.

My now replaced G2S reached that temp after they tried to repair it. Now I have a G71GX (offered as the replacement)
