    My asus only turns when cooled...

    Okay... this is a very odd problem. My Asus A8J laptop has recently only be turning on when I hold it up to my air-conditioning unit. It has turned on consistently only when cooled. I sent it for repairs because my screen joints were broken and I also told them it powered on inconsistently. They returned it to me and it worked (in the air-conditioned shop). Later I found out this current problem...

    ANY ideas as to what could be the reason it only turns on when cool? After it turns on it has no problems running smoothly and hot...

    try cleaning it's vents.
