Well I finally dropped the ball and order a Z96J from www.geared2play.com.

First I must say that the pricing is right on par with almost all of the others I saw and cheaper than many for what I got. This was one of the factors in deciding to buy there.

The next day after my payment I received a notification that the order was placed as one usually would. Any contact through email was returned promptly, faster then I expect to tell you the truth, very helpful and polite.

Overall turn around time to arrive on my door was 7 business days. This was expected as I decided to go with the standard UPS ground. In the end I wished I would have opted for faster shipping as I grew more and more anxious waiting to get it.

When it arrived, when opening the box the item was nicely packed and protected as well. The notebook was nicely wrapped, screen protector, no flaws from the product or packaging. Everything was included; drivers, manual, nero, etc.

I did not purchase with RAM since I already had 2GB laying around, so I had to install that myself. The installation from what I saw was like it should be.

As any time you do a fresh install on a notebook it was a pain in the @ss, not saying challenging, but its just something I can not stand doing.

Overall I am more than pleased, loving my Z96J and would highly recommend geared2play / btotech.

Good to hear since my next laptop (G1) will be from them. I've heard nothing but great things about their company!

Pretty much, spending the cash. It was a pure impulse buy. :D

Right... this is an Asus forum, not a forum on experiences with dealers.
