So this is my first post/topic, but im really happy today because my zenbook was delivered from RMA, that i just have to post this

The product i send for RMA was the Zenbook UX32VD.

Because of the half faulty intel wifi card (n6235) i encouraged myself to replace this. The wifi antenna's connector is pretty uncommon, and as the most highend Intel wifi card on the market right now is only like 30$, i bought it, and also bought some cheap antenna's with U.FL connectors, from ebay, that fitted.

So replacing the antennas was a struggle but i managed it at last. But unfortunately i managed to damage the LED panel, so it started flickering, and sometimes didn't even work. I even broke one of the screw holders for the screen. The ebay antennas were still connected with a lot of excess wire, taped to the motherboard, so there wouldn't have been any doubt that i had been taking the screen off myself, to make this mod. (also i've replaced the ram and the hdd)

I was 110% sure i was going to pay for a replacement screen, but i tought it was worth the money.
So, i created a RMA case, and send the laptop with UPS this monday (9-12-13), from Denmark to Sweden.

Now, friday the 13-12-2013, 4 days later, im sitting with my fixed zenbook!
My product was surprisingly repaired by the warranty!

This is what parts they replaced:
    The FHD screen (ofcourse)
    The motherboard(?)
    The keyboard(??)
The wifi card and the antennas were replaced with the original parts(???)

Altough i lost my AC-7260 wifi card(not included in the shipping), i am really surprised that all this was replaced, without paying anything, even though i had significantly modded the laptop!

So this is my great experience with ASUS, and i will definitely use their RMA service again!

(TLDR; I damaged the screen myself, but was repaired by the warranty, Turn-around time = 5 days. repair location = Sweden)
