    Hello guys. Here are some mods that I've done on my k53ta. The results are good and now I have a better gap of temperature to OC it!

    Here's a list and price for my mods:
    - Copper shim - 10pcs for 1$ on ebay! (but I didn't use them)
    - Aluminium heatsink 3$ on ebay
    - Arctic Silver 5 10$ on ebay
    - Mesh 1$ at dollar store
    - Ram heatsink 8 for 7$ on ebay
    - Thermal tape on ebay (I have A LOT here.. if you want to buy some pm me!)

    Final Product.

    Prime test:
    2.0Ghz @ 0.9875v - 61C
    2.0Ghz @ 0.9875v with stand - 59C
    before mods: 67C w/o stand so 6C improvement

    2.3Ghz @ 1.0750v - 74C
    2.3Ghz @ 1.0750v with stand 66C
    before mods: 79C w/o stand so 5C improvement

    Cool! I did a similar thing to my DV5. Adding more heat pipes would be ideal too.

    Yeah I was going to put an other heatpipe but, unfortunately, it was too big. However I really like the temp I'm getting now. I didn't take a pictures of my bottom case, but I've cut 3 holes to allow better ventilation from my cooler master cooling pad in it.
