Man, I have only had my z70va for about two weeks, and already the "Built on ASUS" logo on the back of the LCD has fallen off! I only carried it in my bag once, too!

Has this happened to any of you guys? It seems just to be stuck on with some sort of gel adhesive. I know this is not that important but still annoying!

Is there some sort of glue that is best to use to put it back on? I was thinking superglue, but it is not that thick and am wondering that it may react with the carbon fiber casing bad.

Those built on Asus logos are put on by the reseller usually. You should ask Justin what kind of glue they use to put it on. Alternatively, you could probably ask the place you bought it from to glue it back.

I agree... I'm sure if you go back to your reseller, they could always just give you another nameplate to replace it.

Bob, if you need one just toss my your address and tell me if it was the big or small one.

I noticed that for whatever reason the Z71va's cut out for the logo is slightly smaller than the logo itself.... you may need to trim it to make it work.

Lol you're worrying about a few sticker falling out? Shouldn't you be doing the same on parts like keyboard? I alway peel off those sticker. Esp those Centrino, Window, Intel inside sticker they normally stick on the palm rest. I think they're a burden since sweat, dirt and other stuff get stuck under it when it peel off slightly. I place them in other place like on my phone. Or maybe on unsuspecting friend. I didn't know they could be so valuable.

Those stickers you mention are normally taken off by most users...however, the "Built on ASUS" name plate is more valuble than those stickers... because without it, the notebook looks "generic" and seems as if it's missing something.

All the stricker is standard size except Z33A. If a reseller doesn't have this in stock, you can contact Asus, they will be kind to send one for you.

either the holes got smaller or the stickers got bigger becuase lately we have had to send them down on many of the z70va's. Its just a tad bit wider on the side so when you stick it in there only one small portion of the glue sticks to the plastic and eventually it falls off. Some stickers are fine some are not so the stickers are not standard size :)

I think this is what the problem is with mine. I cannot seem to get it to sit in the hole properly. I'll try to sandpaper it down, thx guys.

You will not be able to fix that one. You have to request your dealer send you a few spares. Trial and error is a good way to learn mostly errors though. I did not mean sand paper. I think a chizzle works pretty good though
