    My resolution always resets

    Whenever I restart my computer, my resolution always resets back to 800 by 600, why is this, and how can I stop this? I'm have the g51

    Do you have a fullscreen app that switches to 800x600 by any chance? Some apps pass a flag to the WinAPI indicating that that change is permanent. It resets when you exit the app but the old res will return at logon.

    Same thing happens with me. I play a game at 800x600 that unfortunately, doesn't support widescreen resolution.

    Yeah I've been playing warcraft 3 alot, which is a really old game with the highest resolution being 1024 by 768. I don't see why that would reset my resolution to 800 by 600 though
