    Although I have already ordered a replacement, Is the power brick covered under the 12 month warranty so I can get a backup? My brother's also broke a while ago too and these have only been used for a few months :( .

    it should be replaceable by your warranty. give your reseller a call.

    have not a had a single rma for this brick in the past year. the same brick is used on all asus models manufactured and sold in 2006 and 2007. I dont know how you run in to such poor luck but its quite unusual. Inherently the brick from asus are very reliable always have been. manufactured by delta
