    Agreed, I'm looking at buying a 14" for work/study, but I'm not going to only do work on it. I'd like it to be able to play up to date games at medium settings atleast.
    A DX10 card/ or atleast a go7700 on the V2Je please..

    Putting the driver issue asid GO7700 is not much stronger (about 2-3% more performance), throwing in a new GPU means a motherboard redesign.
    So it's not really worth it, is it ? About the second.If you see the shots, it's rather slim.Installing a good cooling system requires the laptop to be a little thicker.

    Wait, doesn't the V2 have an ATI X1450? Theres no way that the Go7700 is 3% faster than that...more like 75% or more...which definitely is worth it. Check the benchmarks, the Go7700 is more than 15% faster than the X1600 (its 2700 for the 7700 versus 1800 for the X1600 in 3DMark06), which is way faster than the X1450 is going to be....
