Just got my N10J-A1. I am planning to install Win XP and throw out the Vista which it came pre-installed with. Any idea on how I can install XP without a DVD drive?

Secondly which of the Asus utilities should I re-install and which ones should I get rid of? I am planning to keep the finger print utility and the Express Gate.

I also want to overclock the CPU and GPU. Any idea how I can do that?

Any other tweaks like the powermizer and stuff I should look for?

For the utilities that you should keep/remove, see my Vista guide. (My list works equally well in XP)

I installed xp but I dont really like the power4 gear for xp it doesnt give me enought options as compared to the vista version. I have heard about this other software NHC but can it be configured to change profiles with the little button on top of the keyboard.

I would guess NHC does not have good compatibility with the chipset on the N10. You could try it, and you could try RMClock as well, but to be on the safe side I'd stick with Power4Gear or the default Windows profiles.
